Tuskegee Airmen Inc. Announces the Launch of a new Flight Academy in New Orleans, LA

Tuskegee Airmen Inc. (TAI) is proud to announce the launch of its newest youth aviation training program, The Tuskegee Airmen Flight Academy of New Orleans.
The new flight academy will partner with the City of New Orleans’ Office of Workforce Development (OWD), to train up to 20 local high school students over the next 2 years at Lakefront Airport (airport code KNEW).

Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day becomes law in Florida

House Bill 1227 establishes “Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day” in Florida.

The holiday is set to take place every fourth Thursday in March, and it will celebrate the Tuskegee Airmen.
